Nant de Drance won the "Major Tunnelling Project of the Year" award in London on 4 December 2014. This prize is awarded by the "New Civil Engineer" magazine and the "International Tunnelling & Underground Space Association". Each year, it rewards the best tunnelling and underground space projects. Nant de Drance came in ahead of five other major projects, including the construction of the Panama City underground and the PortMiami tunnel. Implenia Group, the civil engineering contractor for Nant de Drance, also won first prize in the "Tunnelling Contractor" category. Two awards which demonstrate the excellence and international aura of the Nant de Drance project! Congratulations!
