Marcel Morf to join Management Board of the Alpiq InTec Group

Zurich – As of 1 January 2015, Marcel Morf will assume responsibility for the Large-Scale and Special Projects division. At the same time, the former Head of Strategic Purchasing will also be joining the Management Board of the Alpiq InTec Group.

From the beginning of 2015, Marcel Morf will be the new Head of the Large-Scale and Special Projects division. In taking up his new role, he will also become a member the Management Board of the Alpiq InTec Group, reporting directly to the CEO, Peter Limacher. The Large-Scale and Special Projects division, which until now has been led by Peter Limacher, includes the companies Alpiq Infra AG, Alpiq E-Mobility AG, Alpiq EcoServices AG and Advens AG. In addition to his new remit, Marcel Morf will remain responsible for the GridSense solution launched in June 2014. Alpiq InTec will continue to develop this technology based on decentralised intelligence in close collaboration with the University of Applied Sciences and Arts of Southern Switzerland (SUPSI). Marcel Morf (49) has worked as Head of Strategic Purchasing at the Alpiq InTec Group since 1 January 2014 . A graduate in both electrical and industrial engineering, he has many years of professional experience. Prior to joining the Alpiq InTec Group, he was both CEO and Head of Key Account Management at Alcatel-Lucent Schweiz AG.
